Welcome to Sasebo Elementary School!

We are excited to partner with families in creating a positive, engaging, and successful school experience for every child.

As the principal, it is an honor to lead a dedicated team of educators and staff who are passionate about inspiring young minds. We believe that school should be a place where learning is an adventure, kindness is second nature, and every student feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We firmly believe that high student achievement is built on a strong partnership between the school and home. Active parent involvement leads to better grades, higher attendance, and a more positive attitude toward learning. We encourage you to support your student’s daily routine at home by establishing dedicated study time, reading together for 15 to 20 minutes each day, and regularly asking them about their school experiences.

Your active voice and collaboration are essential to our shared success. We invite you to join our School Advisory Council (SAC) and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), review our school handbook, and familiarize yourself with DoWEA curriculum standards. By maintaining open two-way communication through visits, calls, and emails, we can work together to help our students thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
